Tri-Keys Guide — Arc Gacha Currency Explained
How to get and use Tri-Keys in NTE. 160 Annulith = 1 pull, Arc ten-pull mechanics, pity system, and best value strategies.
What Are Tri-Keys?
Tri-Keys are the gacha currency used specifically for the Arc Research Program (NTE's weapon banner). Unlike Beetle Coins (character banner), Tri-Keys are purchased with Annulith at a 1:1 ratio. Understanding the Arc banner pity system is crucial for planning your pulls.
Conversion Rate — 160 Annulith = 1 Pull
Each Tri-Key costs 160 Annulith. A single pull costs 1 Tri-Key (160 Annulith), and a ten-pull costs 10 Tri-Keys (1,600 Annulith). The ten-pull guarantees at least one A-rank or higher Arc.
| Pull Type | Cost (Tri-Keys) | Cost (Annulith) | Guarantee |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single Pull | 1 | 160 | None |
| Ten-Pull | 10 | 1,600 | 1× A-rank+ Arc |
| Soft Pity (60 pulls) | 60 | 9,600 | S-rank Arc (50%+) |
| Hard Pity (80 pulls) | 80 | 12,800 | Featured S-rank Arc |
Arc Banner Pity System
The Arc Research Program has a separate pity counter from character banners. Your character banner pity does NOT carry over to the Arc banner.
- Soft pity starts at pull 60 — S-rank Arc drop rate increases significantly
- Hard pity at pull 80 — guaranteed featured S-rank Arc
- Pity carries over between Arc banners (doesn't reset on banner change)
- 50/50 system: If you get an S-rank Arc, 50% chance it's the featured one
- If you lose the 50/50, next S-rank is guaranteed to be the featured Arc
Free Tri-Key Sources
While Tri-Keys are primarily purchased with Annulith, there are some free sources available.
- Event rewards — 5-10 Tri-Keys per major event
- Story chapter completion — 10 Tri-Keys per chapter (one-time)
- Achievement milestones — 5 Tri-Keys per milestone
- Co-op first clear — 3 Tri-Keys per boss
- Redeem codes — Occasional Tri-Key codes (check Codes page)
Best Value Strategy
For F2P players, the Arc banner should be approached carefully. Only pull when you can guarantee the featured Arc.
- Save 12,800 Annulith (80 pulls) before pulling on Arc banner
- Only pull for signature Arcs: Ready-Ready (Nanally), Good Boy's Grand Adventure (Sakiri)
- Many top S-rank Arcs are farmable for free — check Arc Tier List
- Don't chase A-rank Arcs — they'll come naturally from ten-pulls
- If you're close to soft pity (50+ pulls), consider going to 60 for the S-rank
