Core Systems
- Esper Cycle — Hexagonal element wheel. Build meter by swapping between adjacent elements. When the meter fills, your team gets an Ultimate burst window.
- Duo Cycle — Swap two adjacent elements (e.g. Anima→Psyche) for basic reaction + meter fill.
- Triple Cycle — Swap three elements with a skip (e.g. Anima→Chaos→Incantation) for stronger reaction + more meter.
- Reactions — Pair elements for effects: Blossom (burst), Nightmare (DEF shred), Stain (DoT).
- Cityrunners — Your playable characters (Espers). Each has an element, role, and Ultimate.

Day-One Checklist
- Complete Episode 0 — unlocks codes, co-op, and gacha.
- Redeem codes immediately — free currency expires fast. See /codes.
- Story chapter 1 — grants Zero, Mint, Adler for free.
- Standard banner pulls — at 50 total: select Sakiri (support) or Nanally (DPS).
- Build first team — use F2P template with free units.
- Level one DPS + one support — don't spread resources thin.
- Check tier list — before spending upgrade books on anyone.
- Save premium currency — unless a top-tier limited banner is active.
What to Pull First
Standard banner: Pull until 50 total for S-rank selector. Pick Sakiri (team ATK buff) or Nanally (top DPS) based on your playstyle.
Limited banner: Only pull if the featured character is S-tier or fills a gap in your team. Check banner guide for current rotation value.
Trap: Don't pull on every banner. NTE is generous with free units — patience pays off.
Stamina Management
- Priority: Character ascension materials > weapon materials > EXP books > gold.
- Co-op: Join anomaly material runs when stuck — shared drops, no stamina cost.
- Dailies: Complete all daily tasks for premium currency income.
- Weeklies: Boss challenges for ascension materials — don't skip.
