Hethereau has 6 districts: New Herland District (downtown core), Miguel District (heritage commercial), Illusion Town (carnival/surreal), Bridge Crossings (historic old town), Unheard Shores (coastal), and Area M10 (restricted outer zone). Unlock the map by activating Wertheimer Towers. Fast travel via ReroRero Phone Booths (13 total) — key unlock: Midas Tower phone booth. Collectibles: 214 Oracle Stones.
How to Open the Map
Tap the mini-map icon in the top-left corner of your screen to expand the full Hethereau map. On PC, open Settings → Controls to check or rebind your map key. Undiscovered areas appear as fog — activate Wertheimer Towers to clear fog in each district.
Wertheimer Towers — Clear Fog of War
Wertheimer Towers are the primary way to reveal the map in NTE. There are 5 towers total, one in each main district. Activating a tower does three things: clears the fog of war for that district, unlocks the tower as a fast travel point, and restores your character's health.
- 5 Wertheimer Towers total — one per main district
- First activation: reveals all roads and points of interest in that district
- After activation: use as fast travel point (open map → select tower icon → Teleport)
- Tower locations are shown on the map before unlocking — use Track button to navigate to them
- Wertheimer Towers also display nearby Anomaly Commissions when selected
Fast Travel — ReroRero Phone Booths
ReroRero Phone Booths are the primary fast travel method in Hethereau. **13 booths** total on Global v1.0 (Game8): Bridge Crossings 2, Unheard Shores 1, Illusion Town 2, Miguel District 3, New Herland District 5. Discover a booth by physically walking to it and interacting — after that, fast travel from anywhere on the map.

Oracle Stones — What They Are and Why You Want Them
Oracle Stones are collectibles found throughout Hethereau, carried by red glowing ravens. Approach a raven to collect its Oracle Stone before it disappears. Ravens appear near anomaly commissions — clear the anomaly first if you cannot interact with the raven.

Chameleon Packages are hidden collectible boxes found throughout Hethereau. They contain character development materials. Use The Guide tool (unlocked from Clement Academy in Illusion Town) to locate nearby collectibles including Chameleon Packages, Abandoned Furniture, and Magician's Gifts.
