How to Unlock City Tycoon
City Tycoon unlocks automatically as you play the main story — no side grinding required. After you defeat the Viewfinder enemy with the antique shop crew, your main quest becomes level-locked and the guide quest Good Morning, Hethereau appears.
Follow that quest to Bridge Crossings Plaza. Speak to Chiz at the Pink Paws Bank. She gives you a debit card and walks you through the system. After this conversation the full City Tycoon menu opens. On PC you can access it any time with F5.
How Tycoon Leveling Works
Each Tycoon Level has two gates: a cumulative Fons total and specific objectives (buying a vehicle, completing a tutorial quest, hitting a House Comfort threshold). Fons are tracked as lifetime earnings — spending them on apartments, cars, or the Hunter Exchange does not set back your rank progress.
City Stamina is City Tycoon's own energy pool, completely separate from the combat stamina you spend on character materials. The pool refills every Monday at 05:00 server time. Every point you spend equals 1,000 Fons. Raising your Tycoon Level increases the cap, which means more Fons income per week — so pushing levels early compounds your income.

City Tycoon Activities — What to Prioritize
Seven activity categories exist. For F2P players, rank them by Fons-per-time-invested:
- Pink Paws Heist (Level 10): up to 1,000,000 Fons per weekly attempt, costs zero City Stamina. Never miss your weekly attempt.
- Cafe by Origen (Level 4): passive income runs offline. Set items to 24-hour restock, not 72-hour — new recipes unlock frequently. Clear the management guide tasks for one-time Fons bonuses.
- Hethereau Hobbies (deliveries, fishing, Tetrominoes): each spends City Stamina at 1,000 Fons per point. Pick the activity you enjoy — the Fons rate is identical across all hobbies.
- Races (Level 3): reward Fons and Annulith for clearing objectives. Six stages at varying difficulty — complete each once for rewards.
- Hunter Exchange (Level 6): spend Fons on Solid Dice (pull currency) and character upgrade materials. Check it after every level-up for new stock.
- Properties (Level 5): buy apartments, place Anomaly Furniture for passive combat stat buffs. Anomaly Furniture effects persist outside City Tycoon.
- City Delivery and Sea Angler (Level 3): additional Stamina sinks if you max out other activities.

No. Tycoon Level is based on your total lifetime Fons earned, not your current balance. You can spend freely on properties, cars, Hunter Exchange, and Cafe upgrades without any penalty to leveling progress.
When should I unlock City Tycoon — before or after finishing the main story?
City Tycoon unlocks automatically mid-story, so there is no choice to delay it. Once it opens, push immediately to Level 4 for the Cafe (passive income) and Level 10 for Pink Paws Heist. These two milestones give you the best long-term Fons income with the least effort, and both unlock early enough that you can reach them while still progressing the main story normally.

Yes. Chiz is a Cosmos-element S-Rank Main DPS who generates Grain on attacks and scales with Fons income. She is considered one of the strongest free characters at launch and remains relevant in endgame Cosmos-element team compositions.
