What Are Hunter Promotion Quests?
At **Hunter Level 20, 40, and 50** you must complete **promotion exams** in the Hunter menu. Skipping them applies **reduced Hunter XP gain** (community reports severe slowdown). Not the same as character ascension or City Tycoon rank.

- Open **Hunter menu** — look for red **Promotion** banner at HL20/40/50
- Accept exam → usually combat trial + story checkpoint (reported)
- HL20 exam: auto-triggers Ascension Limit quest — complete before HL XP applies
- HL40+: bring **Boss Burst** team — /team-tier-list
- If banner missing but HL capped, clear blocking story on map
HL Stuck Near Promotion?
