NTE PS5 Guide — Download, Settings & Trophy List
Complete NTE PS5 guide — how to download, PS5 Pro enhanced settings, DualSense haptics, controller button mapping, and full trophy list.
Fast Answer
The PS5 version is a free download from the PlayStation Store on Global servers (America, Europe, Asia, SEA). Link your Perfect World Games (email) account to share progress with PC and mobile on the same server. PS5 Pro targets stable 4K at 60fps with PSSR2; DualSense adaptive triggers and haptics are supported. The trophy set has 36 awards including one Platinum — data below reflects the v1.0 list; v1.1 additions will be verified in-game.
Download & Account Linking
- Open PlayStation Store on PS5 and search **Neverness to Everness** — the base game is **free to download** (live Apr 29, 2026 Global).
- On first launch, choose **Sign Up / Login with PWG Account (Cross-Platform)** to bind email, Google, or Apple ID used on PC/mobile — or **Continue with PlayStation Network** and link email later under **Settings → Account → User Center**.
- **PSN account ≠ NTE friends list** — you will see both in-game friends (all platforms) and PSN-only friends on PS5.
- Already on PC? Log in with the **same PWG email on the same server** (e.g. America) — progress syncs; trophies can autopop when you open the PS5 client (not 100% reliable for every trophy — finish critical goals on PS5 if hunting Platinum).
Open PlayStation Store search · Also see all platform downloads
Cross-save requires a **one-to-one** link between one PSN account and one Perfect World Games email. Server choice on the login screen (bottom-right) must match your PC/mobile region.
- **Same server only:** America, Europe, Asia, and SEA data do not merge across servers.
- **Purchases:** Annulith and shop bundles sync when accounts are linked (official FAQ).
- **Cannot merge two progressed accounts:** A PSN profile with existing NTE data can only link to a **new** email with no progress — delete PSN-side character data in User Center first if you must switch (irreversible).
- **Third-party login on PS5:** Link Google/Apple to email on PC/mobile first, then sign in with that email on PlayStation.
- **Storage:** ~70 GB free space recommended (official FAQ).

PS5 Pro Enhanced Settings
Graphics and DualSense options are in the in-game **Options** menu (gear icon from the main pause/menu flow — same entry as PC/mobile). PS5 Pro enhancements use PSSR2 for upscaled 4K output; base PS5 still runs the game without the Pro-only effect stack.
Menu paths use the English Global client. If your build differs after v1.1, treat unconfirmed rows as **Unverified — check in-game**.
| Setting | Recommended | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Graphics Quality | High / Ultra on PS5 Pro · Medium–High on base PS5 | Heaviest impact on frame time. Lower if you crash in open-world zones (community reports). |
| Frame Rate | 60 FPS | PS5 Pro marketed for stable 4K @ 60Hz with PSSR2 (PlayStation Blog). Cap to 30 only if thermals or TV prefer it. |
| Resolution / Render scale | Highest your console allows | Unverified — check in-game label after v1.1; may appear as Render Resolution or Quality preset. |
| DualSense adaptive triggers | On (default) | Driving uses trigger resistance for brake/accelerate (official). Toggle: **Options → Controller** — path **Unverified — check in-game**. |
| Haptic feedback intensity | Medium–High | Combat hits and story beats use precision rumble. Adjust under **Options → Controller** or **Sound & Haptics** — **Unverified — check in-game**. |
| Motion blur / V-Sync | Motion blur Off · V-Sync per taste | GameWith community defaults for readability; not PS-exclusive. |
Controller Button Mapping
PS5 uses the standard DualSense layout. NTE does not publish a full official mapping sheet — the tables below match the default Global client as of v1.0 community guides. Rebind via **Options → Controller → Customize** (wording **Unverified — check in-game**).

PS5 FAQ
Is the NTE PS5 version free?
Yes — the Global PS5 client is a free PlayStation Store download (Apr 29, 2026 launch). In-game purchases (Annulith, bundles) are optional. Pre-order cosmetic bundles are separate store SKUs.
Can I continue my PC save on PS5?
Yes, on the same Global server after linking your Perfect World Games email to PSN (Settings → Account → User Center). Progress is not shared across different servers (e.g. America vs Europe). Trophies may autopop from existing progress but some players report missed pops — redo critical milestones on PS5 for Platinum safety.
Do PS5 and PC share the same Global server?
Yes. Within a chosen server (America, Europe, Asia, or SEA), iOS, Android, PC, and PS5 share one account progression when linked. PSN friends and in-game friends remain separate lists on PS5.
Does PS5 have exclusive content?
No major gameplay-exclusive story region reported for PS5 — it is the same Global live service. PS5-specific value is DualSense features, PS5 Pro visual mode, PlayStation trophies, and PS Store pre-order cosmetics. No PS-only characters in public FAQs as of v1.1 prep.
